The Winter Bass season is in full swing. I’m expecting the male bass to move up into a foot of water to start the first spawn. On recent trips the bass seem to be moving in more shallow day by day. We have been catching bass up to 6 lbs. Sooner or later the big females will fall for a live wild shiner on a hook. Also, the Crappie are moving in and out from the edges of the grass to spawn. They spend the majority of the time in the year in open water; so when the weather gets cold, they will be easy to catch in the shallow edges. Jig tipped with a minnow is your best bet. We are located 30 minutes from Walt Disney World and Attractions. The Kissimmee Chain of Lakes is considered to be one of the top fishing destinations in North America
