Crappie and Panfish

familypanfishOrlando Fishing Guide now offers guided Panfish trips on the Kissimmee Chain of Lakes. Targeted species are Crappie, Bluegill, Shell Cracker, and Sunfish. The great thing about Florida is you can catch panfish all year long. Spring to Fall these fish can be targeted with success. The rates are the same for Panfish and Bass. If you like to eat fish this is the guide trip you! If you want to bring home fish for the freezer, Orlando Fishing Guide service has guides that specifically fish only for panfish. That is their passion.

Booking Your Trip

To ensure an open date needed for your guide trip, we recommend making your reservation and paying your deposit online as early as possible (at least 2 weeks ahead of time and longer during winter and holiday periods). A $50.00 deposit will be needed to hold the required dates. Deposits are non-refundable and will go towards the payment for the trip upon completion.

What We Provide

Your Orlando bass fishing guide will provide rods, reels, artificial bait and terminal tackle (corks, hooks). Fishing in Central Florida requires a heavier type of equipment which will be provided. There will be no need to bring your own equipment. If you book an artificial trip and would like to bring your own rods please feel free to do so.
The fishing guide will provide soft drinks, water and ice. If special drinks are required you may wish to bring your own. Food can be purchased on the lake at Richardson’s Fish Camp. Your guide will be happy to take you in for lunch at your request. Snacks are not provided, so you may wish to bring your own (no Bananas, it brings bad luck to fisherman to have bananas on his boat). Don’t forget your camera, sunscreen and protective clothing. Florida can get cold in the winter months and as you know our sun seems to be warmer than normal.
To preserve our resources Orlando Fishing Guides practices catch and release whenever possible. We recommend a replica be made of all trophy fish and preserve our trophy resource for our children’s children. All guides carry cameras, and we would be happy to take photos of your trophy catch and email them to you. Instructional services are also available on request and should be arranged at the time of booking.
